Advance your proficiency in procurement and supply management
Procurement is a master’s degree programme for those who want to enhance their competence as procurement and sourcing professionals by deepening their strategic management, analytics and leadership skills.The degree program prepares participants to drive value through the supply chain and transform procurement into a strategic function. Students will learn to leverage technology for effective supply management and procurement analytics, emphasize sustainability and collaboration, and advocate for the importance of procurement and sourcing within the organization.Upon completing your studies, you will have gained both theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and competencies essential for managing and developing a company’s procurement strategy, external resources, supplier relationships, procurement processes, and organization, as well as the digitalization and automation of the procurement function. Furthermore, you will enhance your leadership abilities and overall business competencies.
Online and part-time studies
The program is implemented fully online and therefore serves the needs of students who prefer distance learning and wish to earn a degree while working. Modern online learning tools enable interaction with teachers, other students and staff. Online contact sessions are scheduled mainly in the evenings from 17:00 to 20:00 EET and on Saturdays. Students also have the option to attend the Orientation Day at the Myyrmäki campus in Finland.
Study in an international multidisciplinary group
Students have diverse backgrounds, in business and technology, and from various cultures and countries. Business students will complete a Master of Business Administration degree (90 ECTS) and engineering students a Master of Engineering degree (60 ECTS). The difference in the number of credits is due to the length of eligible bachelor’s degrees, 240 for engineering and 210 for business administration.
Studies for Master of Business Administration in Procurement
Master of Business Administration degree is 90 ECTS. The studies are designed to be completed in 1.5 – 2 years as part-time studies. Students have the right to complete their studies according to the degree curriculum and their approved personal study plan.

o Digital Service Design 5 ECTS
o Quality Management 5 ECTS
Elective studies, 10 ECTS
Research Methods and Skills 5 ECTS linked to the start of Master´s Thesis.
Master’s Thesis, 30 ECTS.
Studies and study guidance are organized enabling students to finish their degree within 1.5 academic years. The fee-paying students only incur costs for 1.5 years if they finish on time. If they need to extend their studies, additional fees will apply.
Studies in Master of Engineering in Procurement
Master of Engineering degree is 60 ECTS. The studies are designed to be completed in 1 – 1.5 years as part-time studies. Students have the right to complete their studies according to the degree curriculum and their approved personal study plan.

Master´s Thesis
Students will plan and implement a Research & Development project in a real business context, typically at their place of work. Master’s Thesis will combine innovative development work with academic research (30 ECTS). The student is responsible for contacting and acquiring the partner organization for their thesis development work themselves.
