As a physiotherapist you are an expert of movement and functional capacity during all phases of the lifespan..

The English Degree Programme in Physiotherapy qualifies you for working with the functional ability of people of all age groups within the field of rehabilitation. SAMK is the only Nordic university of Applied Sciences, which offers a Bachelor-level degree in Physiotherapy in English. Physiotherapy Education at SAMK has been awarded full accreditation by World Physiotherapy.

A graduate may work within the field of rehabilitation both in the private and public sector. The Graduate’s core knowledge is in the field of assessment and support of movement and function. You can work with people of all ages in hospitals, health care centres, private practices, industry, sport clubs, clinics, and non-governmental organizations.

The program actively collaborates within Nordic, European, and global networks, including the European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education (ENPHE) and the Nord plus Higher Education initiative. It is also a part of the Finnish Physiotherapy Education Network and engages with the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE).
The program is affiliated with the Environmental Physiotherapy Association (EPA) and the International Organization of Physica l Therapists in Mental Health (IOPTMH), fostering a comprehensive and interconnected approach to education and practice.
The programme includes 75 ECTS specifically dedicated to clinical practice, essential for developing practical skills. Of these, 45 ECTS are completed through clinical placements at SAMK, while an additional 30 ECTS are integrated within courses like simulations, practical lectures, and workshops.
Students at SAMK experience an innovative learning environment augmented by the Robo-Al lab and simulation learning. This approach not only enhances technical skills but also prepares students to adapt to future technological advancements in physiotherapy practice

The scholarships we currently offer at Coventry University can vary for every intake, but we typically split them into three categories:

Elite scholarships usually cover all your fees, but these are extremely limited.
Excellence scholarships are merit-based (typically academic performance) and contribute to your fees.
Development scholarships are available for certain courses or nationalities and contribute to your fees.
